Covid-19 Clinic Procedures
Information for clients.
Information before your appointment
During the Covid-19 pandemic, in order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of clinic staff, practitioners and clients, new hygiene processes have been introduced to minimise the risk of contracting or spreading Coronavirus and to promote a safe environment for everyone.
Before Your Appointment
If any of the following apply during the 7 days before your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible:
- You have a new continuous cough
- You have a high temperature
- You are experiencing a loss or change in your sense of taste or smell
- You are experiencing new shortness of breath or other new breathing problems
- You have other cold or flu-like symptoms which you suspect may be Coronavirus
- You (or someone you have close contact with) have tested positive for Covid-19 via either a lateral flow or PCR test
At the Clinic
- Clients, practitioners and clinic staff are asked to wear a face covering or mask whilst in communal areas of the clinic (e.g. reception areas and corridors). These can be removed once inside the therapy room.
- Clients are responsible for providing their own face coverings or masks.
- On entering the clinic, please sanitise your hands using the hand gel provided.
During your appointment
- All clinic staff, practitioners and clients are encouraged to observe social distancing. Floor signage has been installed to emphasise social distancing and to aid navigation through the clinic.
- Hallway doors will remain open (where possible) to minimise contamination of door handles. During your visit, you are asked to avoid touching door handles where possible.
- You are asked to attend appointments on your own. Clients who are under 16 may be accompanied by one parent or guardian.
